Why Mercury?
The Roman god Mercury serves as the mediator between deities and mortals. Mercury is also the first and fastest planet in our solar system. In traditional astrology, it represents messages, and communication. Back in the day, the element mercury was used in thermometers. In science, it was a way to measure energy expenditure.
If we can direct our energy in ways that allow us to communicate clearly (and kindly) to ourselves, our friends, and our loved ones, then our world - and subsequently the world - will become a better place to live in.
